50: WHAT IS BREATHWORK?



In today’s solo jam I am sharing more on breathwork. What it is, how to use it, the benefits and simplicity of it.

As I am going through my breathwork facilitator program right now, I thought it would be good to share with you all the joy the breath can bring.

49: GOING BEYOND THE BODY; WHAT’S REALLY BEHIND THE WEIGHT WITH KIM BASSETT



Today I am talking with Kim Bassett, Certified FASTer Way to Fat Loss Coach. Kim shares her junk to joy story with us that revolves around years of unsuccessful fertility treatments which ultimately led to adoption.

Kim chose to reclaim her positive body image after gaining weight from shots and eating to hide pain. She also made a mental mindset shift after coming to terms with knowing that her body could not produce a baby.

She also shares that adoptive moms can have postpartum and it’s normal. Kim has also found her purpose in a lifestyle that will keep her around as an older mom and shares all the details on that today. You can connect with Kim and her program below in the notes.

48: TRADE IN BURNOUT FOR FLOW AND JOY WITH DR. ASHA BAUER



Dr. Asha Bauer is a psychologist, holistic success coach, and founder of The Consistent Creative. She’s dedicated to helping creatives and entrepreneurs trade in the hustle and overwhelm mentality for more flow, productivity, and joy.

Dr. Bauer has over a decade of experience studying flow, mindfulness, and resilience, and helping high performers to clear mental blocks, clarify their values, and define their own version of success, through the right strategy, the right systems, and the right mindset.

When she isn’t conducting research or working with clients, Dr. Bauer enjoys travel, design, yoga, extra spicy chai tea lattes, and snugs with her tabby cat, Sati.

When Dr. Bauer was getting her doctorate degree in psychology, she saw a lack of connection to the work within her peers. They were studying topics like mindfulness, motivation, flow, and emotional wellbeing, but encouraged to work in ways that burned us out.

She decided to do things her own way, and found she was much more productive and able to get much more out of life when she prioritized her energy and joy. Now she has embraced a big, bold, multi-passionate career as a research psychologist, yoga instructor, therapist, business consultant, and a holistic success coach for creatives and entrepreneurs.

Dr. Bauer believes that success can FEEL like success, and that the idea that we need to pass through a period of total burnout on the way is a destructive myth in our society. We can develop a more gritty, flowing, and joyful way of working through the right strategy, the right systems, and the right mindset.

This process requires you look within and use your own inner wisdom rather than relying on external messages you are receiving, glorifying the hustle, making you feel like there is a formula you need to follow or that you need to find the answers in someone or something outside of you.

Racers must prove themselves. They like to win and usually run on ego, where adventurers connect with their mind, body and soul and usually reward themselves with life experiences. I’m getting into this today!

She is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, mother of four, food and body freedom coach and an emotional eating expert who has created a coaching program helping women reconnect back into their bodies to heal the root cause of why they diet or overeat.

Kari has completed the Mind/Body Wellness certification through Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and as well as the Food and Body Freedom coaching certification through Hungry for Happiness, a company that has revolutionized the diet industry.

She currently runs an online intimate 1:1 coaching program, group coaching programs and works as a Hungry for Happiness mentor for their coaching certification.

Kari’s passion and mission are to help women end their battle with food and heal their relationship with their bodies so that they can live a life full of peace, presence, and happiness!

45: TAPPING INTO TRAUMA WITH STEPH GERMAN



Today I am talking with Steph German all about how we can tap into trauma. You may remember Steph from a previous episode where we she shared with us the difference between coaching versus therapy.

Steph is a Life Coach who specializes in self love and body image and she helps trauma survivors find their freedom and step into their purpose.

On today’s show we get to hear the science behind how trauma lives and the steps we need to take in order to heal from it.

Trauma is an experience that humans go through when something happens too much, too fast, too soon, too little or too late. Now that may seem a bit intense, but Steph goes over all of this with us today.

From where the trauma lives in our brain to the connection with our nervous system to finding our own window of tolerance. You are going to learn all the science behind this.

Steph also shares the meaning of SIBAM as well as why we have to feel safe to feel and heal and why breath, sound, movement and touch play a very large role in the healing process.

It is my birthday week! Woo Hoo!

I cannot be any more excited to share this solo jam episode with you. When I sat down to create the content for this show I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to say or talk about. Then I quickly realized that what I should share are the important life lessons I have learned over the past year.

I feel like not sharing would not be the right thing to do. I am here to help you on your journey and these lessons will absolutely do just that!

From desiring to deserving to then designing. I am going to be sharing what I have been able to do with my tools.

Investing in yourself, finding a community and practicing a gratitude practice are also a few things you should be aligned with when you want to be the best.

41: SOLO JAM: ARE YOU GOING TO SURVIVE OR THRIVE?



Today’s episode is a solo jam and I am excited to share on this topic. It is something that has been pulling on my heart strings lately to be honest with you.

I am choosing my intentions and sharing them with you as well as some key factors in my decision to move from California to Ohio.

I also chat about what is was like when I left my 9-5 job of 15 years to transition into following my purpose. I want to help women realize that they can change their beliefs, belong in their bodies, find happiness, get over heartbreak, truly thrive while choosing JOY every time!

We are all responsible on how we show up, what actions we take and the attitudes we have. I am going to really dive into this here on today’s show and explain why you must take the super important steps of asking, listening, feeling, and then taking actual action in your life.

Something else that is SUPER exciting is the launch of my Joy Vibe Tribe which I go into full detail on and share who this is for. I share with you what my mermaid mornings consist of as well as my little love nuggets I tend to drop on the daily.
